If good for nothing else, my blog could be an advertisement for the camera in the iPhone 4. Some of these pictures were taken with my iPhone 3, I see for the first time the vast difference in their quality. However, these are the only pics I have so…
This condo was great fun to work on, as this was the third residence I have done for this couple and they, for the most part say, “Just fix it…just try to be half way reasonable.” They had just purchased this third floor, three-bedroom condo on the Gulf and figured out real fast furnishing it was a lot of work. They admitted they had looked around at furniture stores in Fort Myers, thinking they would just buy furniture themselves, but they quickly decided that was a lot more work and much harder than they anticipated. They quickly remembered they hadn’t shopped for anything for themselves for years, consequently they decided to furnish their condo the easy way and came looking for me.
I flew to Fort Myers early one morning to take a look, came back in the afternoon with pictures and measurements and did all the work from my studio in Lawrence. I shipped everything to White Glove in Miami; they unpacked and stored everything until it was all there and then delivered according to our installation schedule.
As this lovely condo is floor to ceiling glass on one or more sides of every room custom drapery in all the rooms help control the afternoon heat and light.
I used cream linen with bright green leaf embroidery in the main living areas and beautiful colored patterns in the bedrooms.
Custom upholstery is Wesley Hall. Case pieces and dining room pieces are Stanley. Area rugs are wool sisal with colorful hand knotted custom pieces in some areas. Lamps are from Wildwood.
